MEDIA CREDENTIAL REQUESTS FOR THE BIG DANCE®

Thank you for your interest in covering The Big Dance® -- a free, four-day celebrity-filled festival in the heart of downtown San Antonio, which will be held from Friday, April 4 through Monday, April 7 on South Alamo Street, between Market and Durango. The event schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 4 AT&T Block Party
Saturday, April 5 Pontiac Garage at the Final Four
Sunday, April 6 My Coke Fest™
Monday, April 7 NCAA Championship Monday

Media credentials are authorized and issued by The CE Group on behalf of the NCAA. Media credentials will be granted to media personnel on assignment to cover The Big Dance® for legitimate publications, internet sites, cable networks, and/or radio and television stations.

In order to receive media credentials, it is advised that you submit your request by downloading and completing the following request form. The deadline to submit for media credentials is Friday, March 21, 2008.

Confirmation of your approved media credentials will be sent via email, along with the location of the on-site media center and media parking areas. You also will receive notice of a media walk-through day (to be held the week of March 31), for you and your news team to become familiar with the on-site coverage locations and opportunities, as well as the photo/audio/TV policies of performers that will participate in The Big Dance® . Media registrants will be reminded of and/or notified daily through the media center of any updates to the photo/audio/TV policy. All media granted a media credential for The Big Dance® must agree to abide by the photo/audio/TV policy, or risk the revocation of credential privileges.

Your credential will provide access to all four days of the event, but will not be recognized for entry to the NCAA® Men's Final Four® semifinal and championship contests in the Alamodome. Alternatively, 2008 NCAA Men's Final Four credentials will not be recognized for entry to The Big Dance® event. You will not need credentials for NCAA® Hoop City® refreshed by Coca-Cola® or The Dome Dribble to Hoop City.

Limited media interview opportunities with artists and talent may become available. When interviews are available, it should be noted that first preference for interviews will be given to NCAA media partners and then evaluated on a case by case basis. If you have an advance request for a specific artist, please email thebigdance@cegroupinc.net. A media credential does not guarantee backstage access.
